Haven't had a poll question in a while. Here is the question. How many c/p/h events and adjuncts do you think you will attend this year?

Re: How Many Events Will You Attend in 2014?
As I was recently elected First Sergeant for the 23rd VA, I feel that it is my obligation to the unit to be active if asking others to do the same. With that in mind, it looks as if I'll have somewhere around 10 events under my belt by years end. Quite a few of those are NPS living histories. Thank God for the support of my wife. :)Thomas T. Being out west makes it tough but I am planning on making at least two events this year. I want to buy a Prius just so the gas cost of driving out isn't that bad and I can always tell people it's my wife's car.Kenny Pavia

Re: How Many Events Will You Attend in 2014?
I would have responded with "more than 5" but sadly it seems as though "adjunctivitis" has largely swallowed most of the events and energy within a 15 hour drive of New England. Hopefully once we get the whole 150th thing behind us we can get back to the business of actually having EBUFU events again.
Take care,

Preach it, Brother Tom. Preach it! We shall overcome this insidious blight known as sesquicentennialis adjunctivitis, but it will take time, patience and perseverance.
As for EBUFU's, only two for me. No adjuncts this year.Silas Tackitt,

Re: How Many Events Will You Attend in 2014?
I'm not surprised to hear that from you guys about adjuncts. As I have been talking to people about the AC and Corricks Ford, I have heard the same thing many times, and to be honest, I agree. I have attended several adjuncts during this cycle, but it's time we get our events going again in full stride. That's why it is all the more important to get things lined up on here for 2015 and 2016.ERIC TIPTON

One EBUFU and two adjuncts................
Herb, that is the first time I have heard "Sherman's" march and "advantage" used in the same sentence..
Oh, and isn't "adjunctivitis" a dental disease??

Re: How Many Events Will You Attend in 2014?
Well I can already chalk up one event for the year. The rest will be The Olustee Adjunct, Bermuda 100, Resaca Adjunct, and Pickett’s Mill. I had planned on going to Lower Red River, but the last I heard was that it was cancelled.Tyler Underwood
