    Greetings!

Just a simple question tonight. What is your primary group? Just putting out the bat signal to see who and where everyone is.

I will go first. I am with Mess No. 1 and we are based in Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio.

      Re: Roll Call

My primary group is the 24th Missouri Infantry (US) and we cover guys from Tx, OK, Ark, and MO (and a couple of regular guys from Colorado) who are all like-minded guys who came together for a more authentic experience. We do events with the Holmes Bde group out of KS/MO, and also have a close relationship with Dom Dal Bello and Army of the Pacific guys (We formed a joint company in Murray's Bde for 150th G'Burg). We have done a couple of events with the Hairy Nation Boys too. We travel a lot being spread out and western based, right now we are trying to form a company for Pickett's Mill under our Capt Cal Kinzer.

What Pennvolunteer said in post #3...24th Missouri, (http://www.24thmissouri.org/) though the WIG, and the Armory Guards boys have tolerated my presence at events in the past!

I'm with the 23rd Virginia Infantry. Most of our membership is in Virginia, but there are some out of state oddballs like myself.

I am proud to call Holmes Brigade my home, as have members for over 30 years from MO, KS, AR, IA, NE, OK and CO. We are excited about our new campaigner battalion venture with the 24th Missouri and the AoP, the Independent Veteran Battalion, or IVB, to make its field debut at the 150th Pilot Knob event this September.
