A proud member of 'The Old Guard'. I'm in the Middle Tennessee area but we are spread out all around the place. I also have been known to fall in with the 9th Kentucky at times since they are a fairly local group of great guys.

Just a simple question tonight. What is your primary group? Just putting out the bat signal to see who and where everyone is.
I will go first. I am with Mess No. 1 and we are based in Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio.

Associated with many but a bona fide member of none I suppose. I used to be in a mess but when I became the only one in it, I more or less started free lancing and falling in with whomever would have me. I've met some wonderful people that way and I guess I haven't worn out my welcome yet.
I am a mess of myself. I have been a member the Fort Tejon Historical Association, the 55th Ohio, Winstontown, and now the Historical Citizens Association. I have done Union, Confederate, and civilian. My main focus right now is California during the Civil War, also the Indian Territory and the Trans-Mississippi.

May the multitude of your foes be like small dust, and the multitude of tyrants like flying chaff. And in the instant, suddenly, you will be visited by the Lord of Artillery with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
