Share AC Threads on Facebook

Greetings!

Brent Dacus just upgraded the vBulletin software here at the AC from Version 4.2.2 to Version 4.2.3. Aside from bug fixes in the software, an unexpected and welcome benefit of this upgrade is that you can now share threads on Facebook straight from the thread itself.

We have had the ability to "Like" posts here on the forums for a few years. The "Like" icon is located at the top of each thread. Well, now there is a "Share" icon next to the "Like" icon.

What this means is that if you are logged into your Facebook account, you can now share a thread on the AC to your Facebook feed just like we have been doing with our AC Facebook page. Before, you had to copy the URL and paste it in Facebook. This software upgrade has made this into one step.

So, share away! You can help spread the word about any post on the forum that you think might be valuable to your circle of friends.

I have to say amid all the polarizing, political garbage flooding my Facebook feed, it's really refreshing to see the admins of the Facebook page tirelessly posting great threads (some oldies but goodies) from here on the A/C. Seems like you're the only folks posting positively these days. Bully for you guys!
