Tonight, we are proud to welcome Sam Galyon of the Trans-Miss Hellcats to the AC Staff! Sam is the current leader of the Hellcats and is actively involved in organizing events. He is a researcher who recently published his article "Fifty Shades of Cadet Gray: Uniforms and Textiles in the Confederate Trans-Mississippi" on the AC here. We continue our efforts to provide representation from all over the country.
A Little About the Trans-Miss Hellcats: The Trans-Miss Hellcats are a progressive mess focusing on the common soldier during the American Civil War. We strive to constantly better ourselves through diligent research and hosting the best events possible for all. While we are capable of portraying soldiers from each theater, we do place a larger emphasis on those operating in the Trans-Mississippi Department. We currently boast members from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
