Well its been a trying week but as I take my pen, here we are with all our data back and our site back online. A lot of folks contributed to getting this thing back up and going and I want to recognize those folks that went above and beyond the call of duty, namely:
Matt Woodburn - Who took the bull by the johnny-sack and got this deal done.
Glenn Baker - SB Host (Our new service provider and a wonderful fellow).
BlockBuster Video for hiring our old web host to work the 2d shift so we could accomplish this deal.
Also want to thank all of those who have donated $$, I'll list 'em all off a bit later and also those of you who offered other forms of assistance or promises to drop checks in the mail if further help was needed.
It was all very much appreciated.
Here's where we are going from here - 1) We will be doing some upgrades to the site to get our software up to the latest version of vbulletin - which is more secure, etc etc. 2) We will be appointing an administrative assistant with some techie knowledge to make sure our backups are accomplished and kept in a secure, remote location. 3) We will be hammering out some plans for redundancy with another service provider or host.
Appreciate everyones patience over the last week. Let the good times roll again.
Your somewhat exhausted but very pleased host -
