  • FWD: The FBI needs our Help!

    Guys,

A customer in California forwarded an emailed to me about this tonight. I have cut and pasted the letter here for you. Also Chris Daley provided me with this link to the original news story of his capture 2 Feb 04 - http://www.dailystar.com/dailystar/metro/8225.php

    "Dave,

I also told the FBI about your case and they were interested. Maybe you should contact them.

    Bob
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please forward to get coverage for entire reenacting community.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Friday, 29 July 2004, Kenneth "Peter" Polley was invertendtly released
from the Pima County Jail, Tucson, AZ awaiting federal charges related to
twelve (12) counts of bank robbery. It is doubtful that he would stay in
the area where he is well known and he does have famly in Pennsylvania. Mr
Polley being a former SCV member and heavily involved in the re-eanctment
community might make contact with other reenactors or SCV members.

At this time the FBI is actively looking for Mr Polley as a fugutive, should
we have any contact with him or learn of his whereabouts please contact the
Tucson FBI office, attention Special Agent T. Canizales, 520-791-6896. You
can also contact your local PD or FBI office since there are Federal
    Warrants outstanding.

    Your Obt. Servant,
    Bob Smith"

        pards,

I quote Pvt. Graham Mckennedy 149th P.A.V.I... which he wrote on his painted blanket against pilferers...."May the dog bite him as a thief" We should all keep that bit of scripture in our minds as or when we think to act .... What this man has done is wrong, and should be punished if found quilty! As reenactors as a whole or wait.. maybe as an army of one... a family of one.. we should help to find this man and bring him down..... not trying to pick a fight with this mans friends im only saying that we should do whats right.... A man should never steal from another mans riches.....
And i have brought out my opinion and now im am done....

Well, this made me take a second or third take! I fell in with a Texas outfit from Arizona at the 140th Gettysburg. This guy was the first corporal and I was standing right behind him the whole weekend.

Stand down you all, he's been re-arrested as of Aug. 31, I know, I'm the one that turned him in... I'm his X-wife and he made the mistake of calling me that morning, I got the info the FBI needed, and called them ASAP. Do not worry, he will pay for ALL he's done, and then some. He made my life hell for a time, but I've survived, and I'm free!!! He is not going to know freedom for a long time. I thank the reenacting world for the help and support they have given me in this hard time, I couldn't have made it without my friends!!!
