  • Wanna Be on the December Cover of the AC?

    Comrades:

Would you like to be on the December 2006 "cover" of the Authentic Campaigner? We are looking for images that best-exemplify the look of the authentic living historian. Images taken with period technology only, please. (wet plate, etc.) are required. Both citizen and military images are welcome.

    Submission Guidelines:

    1) We will accept the first ten image submissions only. The thread will be closed after the tenth image is submitted.

    2) Once we have ten images, the high privates will select the final three. The final three will go out for a vote to the membership of the forum and you can vote for your favorite. The poll will be locked after a pre-determined number of days established when the poll is released. The winning image will be placed on the front "cover" of the web site.

    3) If you aren't able to get your image into the first vote, you are more than welcome to re-submit it for the next cover. We will be changing them approximately every month.

    4) Make sure and attach the photo to your post. If necessary, we will crop the photo for the best fit.

    5) The Moderators/Administrators reserve the right to remove any submittals that they feel don't meet the standards of the Authentic Campaigner.

    Let's see those images!

Wow, that was one of the quickest submbittals of ten images we have had. The High Privates will select the final three and we will have the general vote in a few days.

Thanks to everyone who submitted an image. This thread is officially closed.
