This week we broke the 5,000 member mark on these forums. While I'm not naive enough to think all these members are still active on the forums, I think it's a good mile stone.

I'm calling upon the active members of this forum to take an active roll. These are your forums. You may not own them, or contribute financially, but as registered members, they are yours.

Please help out the owners and moderators in improving these forums. If you like something that needs to be enhanced, let them know. If you think something can be improved, let them know. If you think something needs to stop, let them know.

PM the owners, use the alert button and make posts regarding complaints, suggestions, ideas, compliments or thoughts.

Five thousand? Hmmm -- if'n we all gave $10 to a preservation march or other worthy cause, that's $50 G to the good. Can we do more? Too many of us have allowed a few brave souls to carry most of the burdens for far too long.

Are we a like-minded group, devoted to at least similar causes, or just a gaggle of eccentrics in quaint clothes? Let's step up!

      5,000 forum members

500 who attend an event now and then

      250 active in the field

50 who pretty much will go anywhere, anytime, to a high quality event

      Priceless!

      That's about right.
