I have been a civil war enthusiast since I was little, many, many moons ago. I have just recently joined this marvelous hobby and have found the information provided by so many knowledgeable people very helpful. A 10 dollar fee would be a bargin for what is available on this site.

Hello, I too have made a donation of $10 to the AC. This is the premo site for information and to find information. I cant physically visit every Civil War library or Archive in every State, or have access to every Civil War private collection of letters, diaries, and artifacts. There is always someone who knows more than you on any subject, and this is the place to find them.

We've listened to you express your POV, at length. I am still considering the issues you raised, and those that others have raised, and we have not made a full determination of how we will proceed yet. Thats why we've discouraged anyone from donating yet, and why you don't see a subscription program yet.

You've made your point, you have been heard - but this isn't a public forum its a private forum and when I say enough, its enough.
