Re: Please refrain from overusing attachments

Why not delete old threads for gear over a certain point of time. I looked and there were some 50 pages of gear for sale... Probably the same with WTB....

Re: Please refrain from overusing attachments

Maybe I'm not describing what's going on with my attachments clearly enough. What I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to explain is that on the page that shows all of my attachments, there are attachments from two threads. One of them is an open thread, with photos I don't want to delete. They have a box next to them that can be checked to delete. The other photos are from a closed thread, which I would like to delete. Next to the title of these photos there is no box to check.

Re: Please refrain from overusing attachments

        Tim -
If the thread is closed you probably can't delete those files simply because they are locked. If they are big and totally useless, post a thread in the Help Desk with a link and we'll look into clearing those out.

Thanks for cleaning up your files - we do appreciate it.

I always use an external free photo storage site like Picasa to store photos and then insert the image into my post. Since those photos are stored externally, they don't add to the data storage on this site do they?

              No, they don't.

If its something of real historical value though, we want those stored here. We just increased our storage space from about 2GB to 10GB though so we should have plenty of room to grow.
