Yeah sure, that's your reason, Drew :sarcastic

Nice pose and image, Kate. You got my vote.

Must go with numero uno. The image tells me a story. The serene look on her delicate face is as if she's looking down the road for a loved one to return.

More often than not, wet plate photography just isn't flattering to it's subjects. Therefore, she must be an exceptionally lovely lady indeed.

This is like trying to pick the winner in a fight between Yankee Sullivan, Yankee Sullivan and Yankee Sullivan.

I am going to have to jump on the wagon here too and vote for #1. I think it has been a few months since there has been a nice civilian image up for the cover.

Its nice to see a pretty lady on the cover every now and then. It changes things up a bit from the military portrayal. She has my vote.

              Miss Egner,
Well, I've never been to Kenmore, but the image that you did and your description, is sure encouraging to want to see the place. Oddly, when I cannot make an easy choice in these photos, I look for those small details to sway my mind. Those small details are what make the better impression. I seriously reviewed the trim on the hat, the fit of the cuffs, and went looking for earrings and other jools to see if they had the right 'fit.' Yup, that gutta percha bracelet was the perfect touch to that outfit. I hope that you win.:D

This is one of the toughest choices we have had lately. I vote for none I think all three are great it's a shame only one gets through.
But I'm glad a lady gets the front cover this month though.

Re: Vote For the April Cover

Congratulations to Drew Gruber for submitting this image of Kate Egner. We can now say that we have had a lady on the the cover in a solo image. Thanks to everyone who submitted and the finalists this month. I will have the new cover up in a few days. This thread is officially closed.
