it is my sad duty to inform all who knew him of the death of my Brother in Arms "Possum "Byrnes.
he had been in declining health for some time with hepatitus B and a colostomy bag.
Tom was 62,a decorated VietNam veteran ,a N-SSA shoter with the 3rd Georgia and a cavalryman in the 12th Virginia.He went to the eternal camping ground 20 Feb.2012, but I just found out yesterday.
Tom loved his heritage, was an SCV member and a loving son and brother to his sister ,Melissa.My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Rest in peace old friend , your tour of duty is over.
