...that I can't seem to find anymore. It was of several women at a table in front of a cabin/house (you can see just a very small portion of it)...I believe they are distributing food...they are wearing slat bonnets, and there are a couple of children in the foreground who are also wearing slats...I thought it was something to do with the Davis plantation, but I can't locate it anywhere, even after trying several types of searches on the LOC site (it might not be there)...I know it sounds vaguely like the women at Cedar Mountain, but that is not it, nor really like it at all.

I know it is a long shot, but figured someone might know what I'm talking about.

    Thanks.

    Colleen,

Is it in the Time/Life series - It's the one on the Confederate Ordeal: The Southern Home Front? There's one on page 44-45 or something like that. Something in my head thinks it mentioned the Davis plantation, but my book is at my school and I can't check - I wrote it downl, but neglected to bring it home. :) . It's a group of women around a table with a couple of kids with slat bonnets on. Then there's one on page 122 that looks like a town image and it says they are distributing rations.
