  • The 1820's

I am not sure where to post this kind of question, but does anyone know where I could purchase patterns from the 1820's? I have a friend that portrays Governor Dewitt Clinton and he needs to find some AUTHENTIC :D clothes.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!!!

You might try Reconstructing History for the patterns: https://www.reconstructinghistory.co...d=121&w=24&r=Y or Custom Vestments for kits or to hire it done: http://customvestments.com/index.html
I've met the propriators of both establishments and have found them friendly, knowlegable, and personally dedicated to "getting it right".
    Good luck.

      Re: The 1820's

I hear Past Patterns produces some good patterns...
All of our patterns are either meticulously created by hand or selected for usage by our expert designer, Saundra Ros Altman. The Smithsonian, the National Archives...

      Hope that helps
