    U.S. Sanitary Commission Cup

    Has anyone actually examined one of these up close? Is the writing on the front of it engraved or stamped? Was it the size of a standard issue federal cup?

    Does anyone make a GOOD reproduction currently?

    I have seen a couple variants of this cup - both are stamped. One of these is photographed and in the Troianni collection. You can see it online, but I don't have the link to his site but I know it has been posted here (I think by Dan Wambaugh at some point). I had John Peterson of Otter Creek Tinware make mine and I was very pleased with it. Hope this helps, Garrett

      yeah I wish John was still making stuff would love to have him brew one of these cups up for me. There is one on ebay right now but it looks horrible..
