  • Looking for sacks

I'm trying to find a sack, similar to what one would have bought containing rice, oats, etc. Any advice?

I found a pretty nice cloth feed sack at a flea market, you may be able to cut one up and make smaller poke-sacks and such. Smaller leather draw-string bags are good too (Which is what I put my oats in.).

      Professor,

      check here: Link

Can we expect to see a new trick from the Professor when he finds his bags?

That's what I'm thinking. I'm working on a very old Chinese mystery involving rice, and I need a bag (which will hold one bowl-full) in which to keep the rice. I could just use a 'paper bag', but I'm guessing that's not very period correct.

I'm hoping to have this done in time for the upcoming performances for the fall and winter.
