Re: Nightshirts & Nightcaps
After working with linen extensively making gentlemen's dress shirts, I've decided my underpinnings will be linen from now on! It does indeed wear much better than cotton of any weight.
As for gentlemen's night shirts, It's been suggested that I make some for my inventory....but oh when will I find time to make up anything ahead for inventory/"ready made" market!! I would love to see some photos of the original night shirts!!!
As for my own wardrobe..it's the story of the cobblers' children going barefoot!! Will the seamstress ever get new underpinnings as well as a couple of new dresses. I'm sure everyone is getting as sick of looking at my three standard dresses as I am of wearing them:cry_smile
