I'm hoping someone can share info on this style of Top Hat with the convex top? I have not seen any sources (via photos or fashion plates) were this type/style shows up. All that appear, or can be discerned from my minds eye, are the usual flat top variety. Is this a costumers creation or a it a valid historical style?
