Hello everyone,
We have dates for 2012!
Our events portray daily life in a rural Illinois village in May and October 1862. These are full-on immersion events: no modern talk, no modern objects. Our participants are committed to creating authentic impressions and first-person interactions.
The village is composed of early 19th century buildings; they are rough, frontier log houses, no electricity, no plumbing, no spectators, few modern intrusions.
If you are interested, please write for an invitation to join the google group:
Dates:
May 25-28, 2012. This is Memorial Day weekend, so this event will run for four days, from mid-Friday to mid-Monday.
Sept 21-23, 2012.
