    Fascinating examples of needlework and the books from which they were made. Page after page shows crochet hooks, knitting needles, and handwork.

    It's a lot easier than finding a parking place in Philadelphia!

    Very interesting! Thank you for posting the link--I wasn't aware of the great variety of crochet hooks available then...a beautiful collection. :)

      Thanks for posting that! I'd found it awhile ago, and I thought I posted it, but I guess I didn't! A lot of people don't realize that museums often have many of their collections electronically databased on the internet...like the American genre paintings at the Met!
