  • Queensware

I was going through some newspaper files at the library the other night, and kept finding references to queensware in dry goods store ads. Does anyone know what this means? I have been trying to find something on it since Tuesday with no luck. I am still scratching my head over. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Queensware

Here is a quick description of queensware on the Internet: http://www.oldandsold.com/articles/article448.shtml

According to the above cited description, queensware is cream colored but I found other references on the Internet that showed various colors with raised white decorations, as these on ebay: http://search.ebay.com/search/search...e&newu=1&krd=1

I'm also curious about this type pottery.
