  • An introduction

My friends-I have lurked for quite a long time and am now coming out from my corner. I have learned so very much from your discussions. Recently I became a civilian member of the 69th NYSV and will be attending my first event at Neshaminy. I am a high school Family and Consumer Science (Home Economics) teacher, advisor to our HS Colonial History club and am an avid history enthusiast. Some close friends have finally convinced me (without too much arm twisting) to make the move from the 18th century to the 19th. As Gettysburg is just a few miles west of me, I feel that I have come home as well. I hope that I may get to know some of you not only through this medium but at various events. I thank you in advance for information and sharing that I may ask of you. All advice cheerfully accepted!

    Your humble and devoted servant,
    Sally Miller

    Re: An introduction

Welcome! :) I've found Civil War living history/reenacting truly worthwhile and rewarding...I hope your experiences will be also.

    Sincerely,
