  • Any New Event

Long time since I've posted on the AC. I have since past out of the ranks in uniform and joined my civilian counter parts in this passion of a hobby. I was just wonder where all the good events will be this year in 2017?

    Re: Any New Event

There are two conferences currently announced. The Citizens of the 1860s Forum in Michigan and the Civilian Celebration in West Virginia.

There are significant civilian opportunities at the Thunder In the Valley- Cross Keys/Port Republic, Shiloh 155th, Galesburg (Illinois) Heritage Days, and I'm sure there will be more.
There are annual events such as the Before the Storm: Hopewell Furnace event.

I've a few more on my personal calendar and am working on something special focused on the menfolk.

              Ohio Regimental Ball
Don't let the name fool you, it's a conference with presenters, marketplace, and social networking... and a ball, naturally.
