In this episode, we explore the vast varieties of items that were made from soft or india rubber. You get to see many original 19th century rubber items along with catalog and advertising images. We also hear about how the innovator, Charles Goodyear, envisioned an “india rubber world”. He even created an award winning display to showcase his innovation at the 1851 Great Exhibition.
