  • Waist??

A few months back I bought my fiancee Who Wore What, she has been reading and flipping through and was very taken with what are reffered to as Waist. When are these appropriate; and when not? Are there currently any sutlers who sell these?

Also what about these Medicci belts? I am seeing more and more carried by sutlers, but how common were belts of this type?

    Re: Waist??

Similiar question was just asked/answered on CWreenactors.com (aka Szabo's). I provide you the link here: http://www.cwreenactors.com/dcforum/civilian/4367.html

The bottom line to these blouses/waists/Medici belts not in the commoners everyday wardrobe or even high class. Young (so it has been thought 25-26 being a cut off for these items), extremely fashionable, and therefore well-to-do women would have had the ability to have this stuff in their wardrobes.
