  • I need shoes

Can any one help me find authentic mens civilian shoes?

    What vendors carry them?

    Thanks,

    Mark,
Have you looked at the vendors list? It would be a good start.

      Here's a discussion about Robert Land's footware.
The search button came up with : Robert Land

Bob Serio also makes civilian footware.

I've been extraordinally pleased with the civilian shoes carried by this site--we've got about 8 pair running around in our little traveling circus, in both work and dress shoes. While the date is some 15 years before our period, there's little change in the fashions of a working man's shoe.

The brogans give every exterior appearance of a straight last shoe. Inside though, there is a an arch support, creating a right and left. The toe box is unusually long, leaving a nice amount of room for thick socks. A caution though--call and talk about sizing, for it bears little resemblance to modern sizing.
