Hello all,
I haven't posted in sometime. When I wanted to, the site was down . . . my luck as of late.
Moving on. I was curious as to whom, of those who frequent this board, is going to Perryville? I've decided to make use of my civie duds and go all out civilian, a change of pace. I received new work boots (R. Land make) as an early B-day gift, have been sewing like a mad man and am growing out my whiskers, but the thing I can't buy or grow are fellow civilians to hangout with. I haven't had much time to reenact out here, all of my pards being back East. My girlfriend was supposed to attend as an employee of KY State Parks but has since been informed she cannot go.
I've been in KY just over a year now, bout 4 hours east of Perryville and went to the event last year as a spectator. However, I'm not sure what activities will be going on for civilians or what I can partake in. I can swing and axe, play the tin whistle, dance and cook . . . IE I'm up for anything! :) Any info is appreciated.
Best Regards,
