  • South Carolina Photographers book

I found this today while looking at the University of South Carolina Press catalogue.

Partners with the Sun : South Carolina Photographers, 1840-1940 by Harvey S. Teal. The table of contents breaks down the years into decades for the most part and half the images it is said have never been published before this book. Many of the others haven't been seen in 50+ years. Looks to be interesting and is the 54th item on my Amazon wish list.
    Sincerely,

Wow, very cool! I love a good book on photos.

Has anyone ever read "Photography and the American Scene" by Robert Taft? Great book now out of print, unfortunately. You can still find it on Amazon, in a range of prices.
