  • Looking for a print!

    Hello all!

I am not sure if this is the right place to post, if not moderators please move!

I am looking for a print that was popular in occupied territories during te Great War. It featured a boquet of flowers with patriotic colors. The closer you looked, you could make out images of Confederate flags.

I would like to know the name of the print, and if anyone knows where to get one!

I believe you are talking about "Fleur de Sud" (flower of the South) and that print was available some time ago through the Confederate Museum in New Orleans , but that was pre-hurricane, so I'm not sure about now. They also had a great repro "Spoons" Butler chamber pot available at the same time.

      Re: Looking for a print!

      Greetings!

The museum that sold the print is Confederate Memorial Hall in New Orleans, LA. Here's the link to their web site:

Their store page seems to be down, so you might want to email them to see if they are able to sell the print.
