Michael is interested in obtaining a nice civilian sack suit for a lower class impression. What vendor has the best quality of civilian goods? Sorry if this is in the wrong location, please feel free to move it if needed. :-)

Re: Men's civilian clothing
Miche,
One of the best vendors out there right now for men's clothing is Kara Bartels and Brian "Speedy" Myrick. They have a shop in Gettysburg called, Corner Clothiers. Their website is www.cornerclothiers.com.
I know other members on this forum also have had good services and products from Lisa Pace. Her e-mail is GPace16844@aol.com .
I don't know when he plans on doing most of his reenacting but a lightweight wool (like English broadcloth) will work all year. Linen is great for the warmer days.
Welcome to the civilian world Michael!Sincerely,
