OH, How sweet...Thanks for the links. I've plans for making some childrens clothing and these are wonderful examples. Both dresses are exceptional with trims etc. beyond the norm.

        Re: Beautiful images

These images are first class and wonderful. To often we get caught up in military images and foget those that were left behind. Also these days prices are up on non-military so recognition of common man/woman is starting to become a factor with

I am no expert of this, but doesn't that appear to be a rather large coral necklace on the little girl in the last link? Perhaps it's the excessive weight pulling her forward! :D

              Re: Beautiful images

I happened to notice the necklace as well, my first thought was coral, or perhaps an ormolu style or garnet bead necklace. I have to say though, coral was a common necklace for young girls going way back to the 18th Century continuing through the 19th Century.

All great images, thank you for the courtesy of sharing them Mr. Dabney.:D

                Paul,

How true it is about looking at military. I started buying civilian images about 2 years ago, and have one similar to the yellow dress. It is of a women with a rose pattern dress and the roses are tinted. But if you look close you will notice two different rose patterns are used on this dress. Would love to have one similar made for the wife.
                Thanks
