  • Civilian gear..

    Greetings again,
I was wondering if I could get some info on some of the best places for civilian period work clothes. I've also heard of the Camp Chase Gazette(?).
Is this a periodical for the civilian reinacter? As always thanks for the help>

The Approved vendors list (in the top right corner) is a great place to start.

The Citizen's Companion and Civil War Historian are two magazines to look at for citizen-related information.

Without more information on the sort of work you intend to do, it's harder to recommend makers. After all, a banker's "work clothes" include a tailored frock coat, while a coal-miner's involve coveralls and sturdy shoes... there's a big difference! :)
