I recently purchased a plunger less 1lb wooden butter mold and was wondering if there is a trick to seasoning it before use so that the butter doesn't stick?
I used it once after churning some fresh butter at a middle school demonstration, but before doing so coated it with oil. That didn't work and I ended up digging it all out.:(
