  • Looking for period tobacco packaging...

    All,
I thought I had a good scan of the tobacco label like the one shown here: http://pages.gunsightantiques.com/50...923473928.html, but it seems I do not. Would anyone possibly have a good scan of an original similar or a repro PDF document they would be willing to share? We are doing an event where we would like to have some of these made up for the guys. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
    Respectfully,
    Jon Bocek

Try joing this group on here http://www.authentic-campaigner.com/...php?groupid=42 . It has a significant number of tobacco and other period labels that you might find useful.

    All the best,

Don't know if this is post civil war or not but here is one that does not say USA on it as most I have found do.

What Mr Kasmar said. There's literally dozens available through on line searches. Really.

Thanks for all the responses on & off list. The reason I started this thread was to see if anyone already had PDF templates created for some of these labels already so as to avoid spending hours re-inventing the wheel so to speak. Right now, I am currently looking for a good scan or images of the entire Queen of the Valley label (front and sides). Here is an image of the label which unfortunately doesn't show all sides: http://emuseum.chs.org:8080/emuseum/...f-c9af24567290
