Hey, folks!
Looking for domestic options for Fed coat fabrics. Right now the best options are either Kochan and Phillips or Hainsworth (about $100/yard). I'm not looking to cut corners, but trying to figure out what's available.

Anyone see this stuff in person?
Curious how heavy it is, if it holds a cut edge, finish, etc.

My suggestion would be to ask for some samples and see how it looks. I have used their flannel for years and it is nice stuff. For the superfine, if your going to spend $70 from them you might as well get K&P. That is great fabric. My 2 cents!

Melton is NOT the same as wool flannel. B Black does sell 5/6 oz wool flannel, unfortunately their blue is a DARK Navy, NOT indigo. I get lining material from them, but not coat material...
