Since you know many of the partisans by reputation and by observation, you know that they are all nice fellows and of the highest moral character. Besides, Holler always tells the truth and his words attesting to the irregular force that will gather in Missouri are no doubt almost true in a twisted way. Regardless, I am working on channeling Bloody Bill for my impression. The low ladies referred to in a prior post know they wronged us by slipping off with the cherry bounce and not sharing. We will be more vigilant next time.

That stuff must be quite the elixir to have so incurred the wrath of those who've been deprived of it! I'll have to try some one day soon.
