Will we make these guys into Cajuns and Creoles or will we make Creoles and Cajuns into Yankees...
I suggest we serve boil crawfish for rations and go from there.
Dale, is that just for your company, or the whole battalion? Don't tease me with culinary delights such as this. I haven't had any good crawfish in over 20 years.

Be careful Dale, talk like this will only rile the dialogue police....you know who I'm talking about. No humor allowed.

What's your workout plan for getting ready for this event?
I'm currently running 30 minutes on the cardio machines while lifting weights (Chest, Back, Shoulders, Arms) four days a week at the gym. On the weekends, I've been pulling my two young sons around the block in their wagon for about 3 miles a day.

I did three miles this morning, and been working outside in the heat. I am going light. For me the test would be Heat and Walking....and eating Andrews cooking.

Dale, are you planning to bring your Federal pack? I also want to go light, but i was thinking about brining my pack. April in TN can get a bit chilly in the evening.

Wayne, when we did the 125th Shiloh in '87, it got down in the 20's/teens every night, and our water froze.

Yea, I think we are, I'm going to wear that off white issued type wool shirt, Wes is on a power lifting diet so he would only eat fruit out there, so I am sure he would bring one to pack all his can fruit.

Dale, it appears that the event guidelines prefer the early war double bag packs and the contract shirt. as for the fruit....I guess I'll have to yeild to more learned men than I.
