Articles in a column on the left side, next column with number of each followed by price and balance columns. Listed are shoes, buttons, shirting, linsey yards, military buttons, cotton thread & buckles. Received by James H. Danklin.
Danklin was the Colonel of the 33rd Alabama. In the spring of 1862 he organized Company C of the 33rd as a Captain, while the regiment was commanded by Col. Samuel Adams. He joined the army at Corinth after the battle of Shiloh. Promoted to major after Adams' death at Atlanta, then to Lt. Col. in command of the 33rd AL. Participated in the the battles of Perryville, Murfreesboro, Chickamauga, Missionary Ridge, Ringgold Gap, Atlanta Campaign. Captured at Franklin, TN on 11/30/64 and spent the remainder of the war at Johnson's Island in Ohio. Elected to state senate after the war; died in 1877.
